I’m over at Torrey Gazette today, writing about the music I grew up with, even the embarrassing stuff. There’s even a Spotify playlist to go with it.

Running for Cover (Ivan & Alyosha)
These guys make great music, period. But if you need further incentive to check them out, their name is derived from two characters in Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov. As Wikipedia explains: “The two characters hold opposite views of the world, Ivan believing that because ‘all things are permitted’ i.e. sin, that God is dead. Alyosha on the other hand contends that all things are not permitted, and that this is evidence of God’s existence.”
