A Martyr and A Fool

“A man must be prepared not only to be a martyr, but to be a fool. It is absurd to say that a man is ready to toil and die for his convictions if he is not even ready to wear a wreathe around his head for them.” ~ G.K. Chesteron

  1. You know, I think we all have to start with wearing a wreath for Christ. No-one starts out their walk with Christ ready to die for him; His disciples weren’t ready to die for him after spending 3 1/2 years with Him in His ministry. But if we will wear that wreath and begin to trust in Him, he will perfect our faith to the point that we may be willing to ‘toil and die’ for Him.

  2. Chesteron is something else, isn’t he? He is definitely one of the many geniuses for God I’ll love to meet. And, Ink, your last comment so blessed me! Thank you! :-)
