If you listen to the radio at all, chances are you’ve heard one (or both) of these popular songs. The first is “Paradise” by Coldplay. You can listen to the original here, and then listen to Mike Tompkin’s a capella version below. You don’t have to be a fan of the song to appreciate this guy’s talent.
The second song is “Rolling In the Deep” by Adele. You can listen to the original here. Again, you don’t have to be a fan of the song to enjoy this clever rendition of it.

I don’t surf the net much so I don’t know if I’d have seen these otherwise. Amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
*will listen to these as soon as she has headphones* I love The Piano Guys’ remakes of both of these songs. However, I looked up the lyrics for “Rolling in the Deep” and was rather unimpressed…
Y’know, I’ve been trying to figure out what Adele’s song is about, and the best I can figure it’s about a break-up. And the girl ain’t happy. (She might even go after him Dirty Harry-style).
Not really my kind of song – though the tune is lovely – so of the two, “Paradise” is my favorite. It’s got incredible music and the lyrics aren’t an issue. (Don’t care for all of Coldplay’s work, but they’re great musicians.)
Yes, that’s the impression I got also regarding “Rolling in the Deep.” It has a great rhythm, though, so I like The Piano Guys’ instrumental cover.
That was pretty neat. Out the the two I thought “Paradise” was better, (despite lack of elephant costumes) and I must admit that I am partial to the Piano Guys’ work on these, but he did really good.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I prefer The Piano Guys rendition of “Rolling in the Deep”; for “Paradise”, though, I prefer Tompkins.
